Classic Laurion paragenesis, with simultaneous development of olivenite and conichalcite, common in the ancient Kamariza workings.
Etymology
Directly descriptive name, alluding to its characteristic olive-green colour. Coined by the Scottish mineralogist Robert Jameson, a proponent of "Neptunism".
