Iridescent goethite patina on a shale matrix. Light in weight.
History of this specimen
We collected it on our first field trip, in May 2025, by Francisco and Óscar.

Goethite is an iron oxide, and shale is a type of rock, with a tendency to split, formed of compact clays and silts.
