Description
Yellowish-white oxyplumboroméite aggregates on a massive metallic gray galena matrix, accompanied by partially developed cerussite crystals, some with fluorescence under UV light. Compact and uncommon specimen.
History of this specimen
Extracted in 2001. This rare mineral is practically unknown even among collectors specialized in the area. Its association with cerussite and galena gives it high mineralogical value.

- Etymology
- Its name indicates that it is a member of the Roméite group, rich in lead ('plumbo') and oxygen ('oxi'). The Roméite group was named after the St Marcel mine, in the Aosta Valley, Italy.
