Description
A single golden-yellow scalenohedral calcite crystal on a sulfide matrix coated in sparkling dolomite. LW UV response: calcite fluoresces strong red-orange; dolomite displays a duller orange-yellow.
History of this specimen
It has a sister piece, specimen ID (0657). This is old-stock material, likely dating back to the 1970s. The specimen came with a label so ancient that it was impossible to restore, confirming there was another owner prior to Pablo Muñoz.
