Small chip of very pale pink manganocalcite. It reacts intensely under ultraviolet light, with characteristic intense pink fluorescence.

Etymology
From the Latin «calx», “lime”, the root also shared by calcite, limestone and calcium. “Manganoan calcite” indicates the presence of manganese, responsible for the pink colour.
