About Malaquita
Malachite is a secondary copper carbonate, here in microbotryoidal habit and of mainly local interest. It is characterised by punctiform texture and contrast rather than by size or crystal development.
About the locality
One-off find in the surroundings of the Río Ojén, Mijas, Málaga.
