Description

Fine clinozoisite-epidote crystals developed in a longitudinal crack on a light matrix. Fibrous texture and aesthetic arrangement in a natural fracture.

History of this specimen

Sold as clinozoisite but they are zoisites, without clino. It has very fine and elegant crystallization in a crack, but the base has been cut with an angle grinder, which detracts from its personal value. Sold by Juanjo from Elche, friend of Meli, who reintroduced the collector to the world of minerals and taught him how to use a loupe.
