Calcita
Calcita is a mineral with formula CaCO₃, in the Carbonatos group. This specimen comes from Marruecos, Marruecos and joined the Terrium collection in 2025.
Description
Good white calcite crystals arranged on a base of quartz (or chalcedony) with a granular texture. Strong relief and contrast between surfaces.
History of this specimen
Piece acquired for €5 with the intention of selling it. Simple but commercial aesthetics, ideal as an introductory specimen. It comes from the same lot of three pieces sold by Juanjo from Elche at the Salamanca Fair.
