Cuarzo es un mineral de fórmula SiO₂, perteneciente al grupo Silicatos. Esta pieza concreta procede de Piedra Parada, Tatatilas, México y entró en la colección Terrium en 2010.
Descripción de la pieza
Dos flores de amatista sobre la cresta de una matriz blanco-grisácea tam,bién recubierta de algunos cristales de cuerzo mucho mas pqueños. The lustrous crystals show a delicate blush-purple colour, deepest at the terminations, with attractive stepped-growth prism faces. The two Amethist clusters with the for Vera Cruz typical 'purple blush' colored terminations are already great but the way that the Amethist presents on their matrix is for size and for overall aesthetics exceptional.

Los comerciantes compran lotes completos de los mineros y los venden de la misma forma para no quedarse con piezas invendibles. Logística de transporte: Para evitar daños, las amatistas se transportan en cajas de madera o plástico rellenas de serrín, lo que protege incluso los cristales más frágiles.
