Eritrina is a mineral with formula Co₃(AsO₄)₂·8H₂O, in the Arseniatos group. This specimen comes from Distrito de Bou Azzer, Tazenakht, Ouarzazate, Drâa-Tafilalet, Marruecos and joined the Terrium collection in 2003.

About Eritrina
Erythrite is a hydrated cobalt arsenate, characterised by its carmine colour and acicular habit. It typically forms by secondary oxidation in zones rich in cobalt minerals.
About the locality
Bou Azzer is one of the classic world localities for erythrite. It lies in a cobalt-mineralised belt that has produced fine crystals since the early 20th century.
