Description
This piece features a beautiful, sharp, highly lustrous, deep inky-blue, doubly-terminated tetragonal prisms of Anatase. black Anatase on white Albite.
History of this specimen
Around 2007, some excellent "Alpine"-type Anatase specimens began trickling out of one of the most dangerous areas in Pakistan.

Anatase is a titanium dioxide polymorph, prized for its sharp tetragonal crystals, high lustre and dark blue to black tones. Fine specimens from Pakistan rank among the best modern finds of the species.
